DTNoT does not collect, send to a server, sell, or share any personal data with third parties. Your notes are stored exclusively in your own browser and on your own device. There are no accounts, memberships, or logins; the extension makes no network requests over the internet.

When you create a note, text, color, and appearance information are generated.
02 Stored on your device
Everything is stored in the browser’s extension-specific local storage; it does not sync with your browser account.
03 Goes nowhere else
There is no server transmission, third-party sharing, or tracking.

1. What information is processed?
Only the notes you create and the technical information required to display the note in the correct location are processed on your device:
- Note text — the content you write.
- Appearance and color — your choice of post-it, banner, footer, or corner label, along with the color and position of the note on the page.
- Site and page URL — the site the note belongs to (e.g.,
sahibinden.com) and, if the note is not marked as “site-wide”, the address of the specific page. - Note state — “site-wide” flag, hidden status, and date information.
- Interface preferences — language, theme, and “hide” duration.
This information is used solely to display your note on the correct page with the correct appearance; it is not used for any other purpose.
2. Where is the data stored?
All data is kept in the browser’s extension-specific local storage (chrome.storage.local). This storage resides on your device, is not synced with your browser account, and no copy of your notes is kept on any server accessible by DijitalTurk.
3. No data collection, transmission, or sharing
- There are no servers, databases, or user accounts.
- There are no analytics, crash report tools, usage statistics, advertising, or tracking tools.
- The extension makes no network requests (fetch / XMLHttpRequest / WebSocket / beacon) — this can be verified in the published package’s source code.
- No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
- Since notes never leave your device, there is no data transmission, sharing, or cross-border data transfer.
4. Requested permissions and their justifications

5. Access to page content
DTNoT does not read or save text, forms, login credentials, images, or cookies from the pages you visit. The only element it adds to the page is the note you create.
A link to dijitalturk.com is located at the bottom corner of your notes; if you click it, your browser opens that site. This does not mean the extension is transmitting data.
6. Incognito mode
Use in Incognito mode depends on your browser’s own settings. Even when used in Incognito mode, notes are still stored exclusively on your device.
7. You are in control: deletion, backup, and migration
- Deleting a note: via the ✎ menu on any note.
- Deleting all data: simply uninstall the extension, clear extension data in your browser, or clear site data from your browser settings; all notes will be deleted.
- Backup and migration: you can create a backup at any time using “Download JSON” under Settings and import it on another device.
8. Children’s privacy
Since the extension does not collect any personal data, it does not collect data from children either; there are no features requiring age verification.
9. Changes
When this policy is updated, the “Last updated” date and version number on the page will change; significant changes will be announced in the store release notes.
