Orchestration on Domain Controller with IntegrationHub and MID server

In ServiceNow, using Integration Hub with a MID server, you can have users automatically created on the Domain Controller and perform other orchestration operations.

First, you need one Domain Controller (DC) and one MID server; the MID server must not be installed on the DC.

The Integration Hub plugin must be active on ServiceNow.

    In

  • IntegrationHub -> Credentials, you need to define your DC login information.

  • If the information you entered is correct, click the test link, enter the DC internal connection IP, select the MID server, and test your connection. At this point, you should not get an error. If the connection cannot be established, there is a communication problem between your MID server and the DC. Try reaching the DC from the MID server using ping and telnet methods.

    In the

  • IntegrationHub -> Connections section, we define the connection settings to be made with the DC.
  • From

  • Flow Designer-> Designer, we set the trigger condition, and in the action section, which is the important part, we select Microsoft AD -> Create User and ensure the fields are filled in.

The most important trick here is that the AD DS and AD LDS Tools option must be selected on the MID server.
