// ServiceNow

Adding an object to a form (button, etc.)

In the ServiceNow application, the following steps can be followed to add buttons or similar objects to different screens.

  1. First, the object to be created is coded under System UI > UI Macros . Let’s assume we named it “test_btn”.
  2. A new formatter is created under System UI > Formatters . Let’s say we named it “test_formatter”.

“formatter” field, “test_btn.xml” is written.

“Table” section, the table to be displayed is selected.

“Type” section is marked as “formatter”.

Finally, the name given to our formatter (test_formatter) is found from “form layout” and placed in the desired location on the form.
