After the latest update, Google Chrome has added a plugin called NPAPI. This plugin restricts some programs that affect the browser from external sources, and one of the most important of these is JAVA.
For this plugin, which is used to activate JAVA-based and externally sourced application plugins,
chrome://flags/#enable-npapi all you need to do is go to this address, select enable NPAPI plugin, and restart the browser.
