Fixing the printer issue where it isn’t deleted even after being removed

If the printer you removed from your computer still shows up in apps, you’re having a printer issue, and you can fix it by following the steps below.

• Right-click the Start menu and click the Run tab.
• Type regedit into the search box that opens.
• Regedit, that is, the Registry Editor, will open.
• When you enter the registry that opens, follow the path below.
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Print > Printers
• When you click Printers, you will see below that the old printers have not been deleted from the registry.
• You can right-click on your old printer and select DELETE to delete it.
• Restart the computer.
